The Story Behind Stillhere Studio

Why I created Stillhere, and why it exists today.

My name is Wasana, and Stillhere Studio was created from something very personal.

I didn’t set out to start a brand. I was simply trying to find a way to remember my dog after he was gone, in a way that felt calm, respectful, and true to who he was in my life.

What I found instead was a lot of pet art that felt too playful, too decorative, or too loud. None of it felt right for the kind of presence he had been to me.

So I decided to create something different.

Why I Created Stillhere Studio

After losing my dog Bruno, I struggled with how quiet the house felt without him.

I wanted a way to remember him that didn’t feel overwhelming or sentimental in the wrong way. I didn’t want something that demanded attention. I wanted something that could simply be there, quietly, gently, the way he always was.

That’s where Stillhere began.

I created it as a way to honor dogs who are no longer with us, and the bond we shared with them. Not as decoration, but as remembrance.

This Is Not Pet Art — It’s Memorial Art

I only create memorial portraits.

I don’t make portraits of living pets, and I don’t create playful or novelty designs. Every portrait I create is meant to honor a dog who has passed, and to live quietly in your home as a reminder of a bond that mattered.

This isn’t about style or trends.
It’s about presence.

Each portrait is created individually, with care and intention. Nothing is rushed. Nothing is treated as just another order.

How I Approach Every Portrait

When I create a portrait, I start with a photo, but more importantly, with the understanding that this dog meant something.

I want every portrait I create to feel calm, honest, and respectful. Something that doesn’t shout, but gently stays.

The process is simple and private:
• You choose your memorial portrait
• You upload a photo after checkout
• I carefully create a finished artwork meant to be lived with

Nothing is automated.
Nothing is mass-produced.

Because I know this isn’t just an image, it’s a memory.

Who Stillhere Studio Is For

Stillhere Studio is for people who have lost a dog and want a quiet way to remember.

It’s for those who value subtle design, calm spaces, and thoughtful creation. For those who don’t want something decorative, but something meaningful.

It may not be right for everyone — and that’s okay.

If you’re looking for playful pet art or colorful illustrations, this likely isn’t the right place. Stillhere exists for something more specific, and more personal.

Words From Families Like Yours

Over the years, I’ve had the honor of creating memorial portraits for families around the world.

Not because they were looking for art -
but because they were looking for something that felt right.

“It gave us a quiet sense of peace.”
Seeing the portrait brought comfort rather than sadness. It feels like a gentle reminder of the love we shared.

“Thoughtful from start to finish.”
The process felt respectful, and the portrait reflects her in a way that feels calm and honest.

“It feels like he’s still part of our space.”
We placed the portrait where he used to rest. It doesn’t feel heavy, it feels comforting.
